Our Story

Cyturus started as a cyber risk consulting firm. We architected solutions for our Fortune 5000 clients that were simple, elegant and are still in use today. Over five years ago we realized the Compliance and Cyber Risk management industry could do better than static reports, spreadsheets and complicated solutions. We leveraged our years of experience in technology and cyber risk management and created ARM, the C2MA process and CRT to automate and simplify both the maturation process and the assessment metrics. Our passion is cyber risk quantification and our promise is to help simplify cyber risk and compliance management.

Our mission is to help businesses make sense of cybersecurity risks through managing a baseline of risk reduction practices aligned to business strategy. We help organizations of all sizes and industries identify and manage business exposure though rapid quantification and real time visibility into cybersecurity and compliance risks.

Robert Hill

Robert has spent over 30 years in the IT space promoting significant and measurable reductions in business risk through applied cybersecurity practices, programs, and technologies. Prior to founding Cyturus, Robert worked as an industry leading cybersecurity consultant often featured on Network News broadcasts, seen on stage as a forum panelist, and found in Fortune 500 conference rooms discussing cybersecurity risk in business terms.

He is a member of the FBI InfraGard, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his degree in Biomedical Clinical Engineering.

Robert's distinguished career has been marked by a relentless commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of corporate compliance intricacies.  His transformative insights have not only shaped the industry's best practices but have also empowered countless organizations to thrive in the face of regulatory challenges.

Throughout his dynamic journey, Robert has been at the forefront of crafting innovative solutions that blend patented cutting-edge technology and strategic acumen.  His leadership has elevated Cyturus as a trusted partner, guiding companies towards informed decisions, proactive risk management, and regulatory compliance through the integration of our evolutionary SaaS based Continuous Compliance and Risk Management solutions.

Chief Operating Officer

Lou Carli

Lou is a veteran cyber security executive with over 20 years of experience building nationally recognized sales and engineering teams. Lou joined Cyturus as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for Operations, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, Marketing, and Sales.

He brings extensive start-up expertise to Cyturus, having previously focused on cybersecurity incident response and forensic data capture, as well as security course curriculum development. He has successfully launched several IT security start-ups with the most recent being a next-generation security operations center (SOC) which was later acquired by a national Value Added Reseller (VAR).

Currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Cincinnati NEXT Apprenticeship Program and was previously the President of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) – Cincinnati Chapter

His specialties include; business strategy & development, program creation & execution, executive relationship building, sales leadership, team training & development, channel management and distribution.

Jeff Allen

Advisor and Chief Strategy Officer

Jeff Allen

Jeff operates at the intersection of product, go-to-market operations, and finance in generating impactful deals in the technology sector - and has been CEO of award-winning start-ups and has specific expertise working with cyber security companies in a strategic/positioning/financial capacity- first defining strategy, then executing against it.

As a venture capitalist, Jeff has led 50+ financing rounds across a portfolio of 22 investments and served on 10 Boards of Directors in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and digital media sector. Collectively these investments generate $350m+ and valuation increases of $15B prior to exit.

Jeff has applied his product and deal making expertise to the cybersecurity, SaaS and video platform sectors, and in recent years, serving as a management team member focused on product and market expansion, generating $975m in new revenue through creative M&A financing totaling over $3B.

Jeff shares a passion for cybersecurity with Cyturus and envisions an opportunity to help others understand that security is not just an IT issue, but rather a business problem that can be mitigated through a proactive approach.

Jeff’s marketing efforts with Cyturus Technologies will focus on helping companies assess cyber maturity across their entire operation, and to move their attention toward visibility into risk exposure and ways to quantify and mitigate Cyber-threats across all operational domains.
